Village Day

10:30 to 18:00

It starts with stoolball at 10.30.  Open to older children (10 plus)  and adults.  Please arrive promptly so we can start the day off on time and to secure your place in the Village East / West rematch!

Children (and Adults!) can celebrate this year's bumper bilberry harvest by having their faces painted blue for the day! 

BBQ runs from 12-2
Bring a salad and get a free BBQ burger or sausage !

12.15 will be the Run to the Tower.  We would really like to encourage more runners this year and for the first time there will be two trophies.  An adult race and a child's (12 and under). The adult race will start promptly at 12.15 and the children's race at 12.20.  Trophies will be presented at 12.45.  Register on the day or in advance but be there ready to run at just after 12.

The 'All Over the Hill Ukulele Band' will entertain you at 1pm

Kids races 1.15 to 1.45
Adults games 1.45-2.20

The cricket match between the Cricket Club and the Village starts at 2.30 pm. 

During the first half of the cricket match Helen Simkins is organising a Teddy Treasure Hunt for the children.  It will also be an opportunity to forage for the last bilberries of the summer.

4-4.30. The Coldharbour Village Band plays while you enjoy tea, cakes and scones with bilberry jam. If you can bring a cake or scones for the teas please let Sue Smith know.
